I've had the opportunity to read through many works like this in my years as a science fair coach, and this is the first one I've encountered that truly lays out the process from beginning to end. By drawing from a wide range of different experiences, the author has enabled students to pull from a broad level of different topics and see how other students have chosen to present their work. As was mentioned in the book, the goal was never to have a student come in and "copy" an existing project, but rather just to gain a more in depth understanding of how to take their ideas from vision to victory.
Of special note to me was the section the author provided on tips for surviving the science fair, such as what to bring along to ensure a positive experience.
Recommend this one very highly for any student scientist.
The material in the book is great, just HARD to access quickly. A table of contents and an index would be FANTASTIC additions to this book. ....even just a table of contents, PLEASE.
Very helpful and information - it digs deeply though so it is not a light read.
